The Adopter agrees that PPAR retains the right to contact the Adopter at its discretion to visit the dog and ensure that these conditions of adoption are met. This agreement between Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue (PPAR) and Adopter is to cover a trial dog adoption. In our establishment there is a large fenced park where you can meet the dogs you are interested in or we can bring them to our office if the weather conditions are not good. With the information you have provided in the app and through conversations, we help you reunite them with the dog we think best suits your family and lifestyle. If you are interested in adopting an adult dog, we will give you a one-week trial period to meet with them and decide if you want to make them a permanent member of your family. During the one-week trial period, we provide food, collar and leash. There is a test agreement to complete and a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 is required. ** The trial phase only applies to adult dogs ** If the adopter finds that the dog is not suitable during this trial period, the Adopter must notify PPAR in order to agree on an agreed date/time for the dog`s return. The adoption fee collected at the beginning of the “trial adoption” is returned to the adopter upon the dog`s return to its original state from the beginning of the “trial visit”. The adoption fee for all our rescues is $300.00 USD, including the three necessary vaccinations (DAPP & Rage), microchip and castration/castration. All adults and puppies over 6 months of age are already vaccinated, microchipped and castrated/neutered.

If you adopt a puppy that is not yet castrated, we make an appointment with you to castrate him. Every month we have booked some days in our veterinary clinic where our rescues can be castrated. Contact the property as soon as your puppy is between 5 and 6 months old and we have him booked. Castration of your puppy is part of the adoption agreement and if you don`t want to, you can`t take care of any of our rescues. By signing this Agreement, the Adopter grants PPAR and/or its designated representative permission to remove the dog from the Adopter`s premises in the event of a breach of contract or extension of the puppy. PPAR offers primary vaccinations, microchips, deworming, castration / castration, all the necessary first care by the veterinarian and current anti-fleas. Once the animal is adopted, the adopter covers the costs of full veterinary care that are not mentioned in this contract or its renewal of the puppy contract. The adopter expressly waives any liability of PPAR with respect to the dog`s behaviour, temperament and health during the trial visit and after subsequent adoption.. .
